The handcrafted kalimbas of the Ortega Lizard Series combine the heritage of their African origins with modern features. Carefully selected, spectacularly beautiful tonewoods, an ergonomically shaped handrest, and a crystal-clear sound experience promote limitless creativity and enjoyment of music. The latest addition to our kalimbas is the OKB1E, which comes with a built-in passive pickup system. When connected to an amplifier, it can be used for live performances and recording sessions. The kalimba is made from solid acacia wood and features 17 keys tuned to C major. A comprehensive accessory set is also included.
