Oratex® is an iron-on polyester covering fabric, ideal for all scale models, large models, and historical models.

Five good reasons that make Oratex® covering fabric so special:

  • Easy application: Thanks to the flexibility of the material and a 15% biaxial shrinkage, Oratex® can be effortlessly applied around edges and curves. Wrinkles can be easily removed with a film dryer or hot air blower.
  • Fantastic adhesive strength: Oratex® has double the adhesive strength of conventional covering fabrics.
  • Remarkable strength and durability of the fabric.
  • Protective seal: Oratex® comes factory-coated with a fuel and oil-resistant seal. You can paint Oratex®, but it’s not necessary!
  • 20 attractive colors.
