Like all ultra-short throw projectors, the GT5500+ requires an absolutely smooth surface to project the perfect image. Since most walls are not completely smooth, you may need to install a screen to prevent any image distortion. If that is not possible, we recommend using a short throw projector that can produce a 100-inch image from just over 1 meter away.

Doch vor allem die Bildqualität enttäuscht. Die Helligkeit in der farblich empfehlenswerten Film-Einstellung ist zu gering für hellere Räume.
Der GT 5500+ ist ein gelungener Hybrid und durch sein Nahfeldkonzept eine tolle Alternative/Ergänzung zum TV - vor allem für Gamer. Wer sich distanziert, bekommt mit klassischen Beamern mehr Bild.
