It's hard to imagine how the good old CD player could be improved. But the engineers at Onkyo have come up with some innovative ideas. With the C-7070, you have a CD player that brings the technology up to 2011: the result is an extremely versatile and sophisticated audio device. The CD player rests on vibration-damping feet and features a 1.6 mm thick, flat housing, an aluminum die-cast CD tray with a quiet loading mechanism, a vibration-free mounted circuit board, and an elegant aluminum front panel. The electronics include a high-precision clock generator, two 192 kHz/24-bit DACs from Wolfson (one per channel), as well as Onkyo's DIDRC (Dynamic Intermodulation Distortion Reduction Circuitry). These enhancements eliminate noise at the signal source – your music sounds clearer than ever before.
