Onkyo has taken on the challenge of distortion. You will immediately realize how successful this endeavor is when you turn on the A-9070 stereo integrated amplifier. The new DIDRC (Dynamic Intermodulation Distortion Reduction Circuitry) technology dampens distortions in the high-frequency range. Closed ground loops, HICC (High Instantaneous-Current Capability), and the vibration-damping construction together create a sound of astonishing clarity and dynamics. The four 15,000 µF capacitors provide ample power reserves. Combined with a three-stage, inverted Darlington circuit, the efficient parallel push-pull output stage reduces distortion to nearly zero. Separate 192 kHz/24-bit DACs from Wolfson for the left and right channels enhance performance. The device also supports modern formats with HD audio playback at 192 kHz/24-bit.
