The A-9000R is an integrated amplifier designed by music lovers for music lovers. Developed for discerning HiFi fans, it combines power with versatility. Like the other models in Onkyo's new Reference series, the A-9000R features modern construction of Hi-Fi components and circuit design.
It shares the AWRAT technology, quadruple push-pull amplification, and a three-stage inverted Darlington circuit with the power amplifier M-5000R. Like the preamplifier P-3000R, it has digital AES/EBU connections from Amphenol and supports asynchronous signal transmission via USB for unaltered playback of HD audio from a PC. Additionally, the A-9000R is equipped with separate 192 kHz/24-bit DACs from Wolfson for the left and right channels, a DIDRC module for noise suppression, and a vibration-dampening chassis that minimizes interference and ensures high signal quality.
What sets this integrated amplifier apart is the ability to operate it in four different amplifier configurations, depending on the combination with your other Hi-Fi devices.
