Omron NX-EIC Ethernet/IP Coupler. The Ethernet/IP Coupler Unit is the connection between the EtherNet/IP multi-vendor network and the NX Series I/O Units and Safety Units. With its wide range of I/O units and safety units, the NX Series is the perfect partner for the CJ Series and multi-vendor controllers. Up to 63 NX IO devices can be connected to one Ethernet/IP coupling unit. Standard and high performance couplers can be used mixed. Each coupler, including its associated I/O, forms a single EtherCat node on the network. I/O control and safety control can be integrated for safety purposes by connecting units. The IP address can be seen on the label of the coupling unit without having to use the software. Slave configuration via SYSMAC Studio can be done centrally via the controller, or on site using the USB port integrated in the coupling. Input per coupling unit: maximum 504 bytes, output per coupling unit: maximum 504 bytes.
