The Olympus LH-55B lens hood for selected Olympus lenses helps reduce stray light from the sun or other light sources. Lens hoods also provide some protection for the lens against accidental bumps. The LH-55B lens hood is compatible with the 9-18mm f/4.0-5.6 Zuiko ED lens and the 12-50mm f/3.5-6.3 M.Zuiko ED lens from Olympus. It is a black, rectangular lens hood.
