With the Olympia PS 55 CC, you can shred up to 10 sheets per cutting operation (or one credit card) into 4 x 40 mm small particles, which corresponds to security level P4 according to DIN 66399. Using a sensor, the PS 55 CC automatically detects the sheet to be shredded and starts or stops the drive motor. Furthermore, the shredder features a reverse function to resolve paper jams. Particle cutting offers high security in the home office or office. In particle or cross-cutting, documents are cut both lengthwise and crosswise. The size of the resulting particles determines the security level and thus the intended use of the device. Compared to a strip-cut shredder, the particles not only provide higher data security, as reconstruction is more difficult, but they also take up less space in the waste container since they are more compact.
