Offgridtec switching stations allow you to operate 230V devices from two different power sources without interruptions. Typically, this involves a voltage converter or the public power grid.

With the priority switching feature, you can determine which power source should be used preferentially. If this power source fails, it automatically switches to the backup power source.

The use of high-quality relays ensures a particularly precise switching threshold, and the voltage converter is protected against backfeeding from external voltage.

Application example 1 – Grid priority switching:

• The 230V AC grid is connected to input AC2 (higher priority).
• This means the battery is preserved, and the inverter is simultaneously protected from external voltage.
• Only when AC2 loses power does input AC1 switch the power supply to the battery and inverter.

Application example 2 – Inverter priority switching:

• The inverter is connected to input AC2 (higher priority).
• This means that power is primarily drawn from the inverter from the battery (e.g., when using solar off-grid systems).
• Only when the inverter shuts down due to deep discharge protection does the 230V AC grid connect through input AC1.
