Offgridtec switch stations allow you to operate 230V devices without interruptions from two different power sources. Typically, these sources are a voltage converter or the public power grid.

With the priority switching feature, you can determine which power source should be used preferentially. If this power source fails, it automatically switches to the backup power source.

The use of high-quality relays ensures a particularly precise switching threshold, and the voltage converter is also protected against backfeeding of foreign voltage.

Application example 1 – Grid priority switching:

• The 230 V AC grid is connected to input AC2 (higher priority).
• This means the battery is preserved, and the inverter is simultaneously protected from foreign voltage.
• Only when AC2 loses power does input AC1 switch the power supply to the battery and inverter.

Application example 2 – Inverter priority switching:

• The inverter is connected to input AC2 (higher priority).
• This means power is primarily drawn from the inverter from the battery (e.g., when using solar island systems).
• Only when the inverter shuts down due to deep discharge protection does the 230 V AC grid connect via input AC1.
