The ODB-II connector gives you access to the car's Can-Bus. Together with a Can-Bus Shield (see accessories), many vehicle data can be read and manipulated.

Attention: Although the DB9 connector looks like a serial port, it should not be plugged into a regular serial port! Always connect via a Can-Bus Shield or breakout.
