OEM 12mm Diffused Digital RGB LED Pixels (25 strand) WS2801

25 individually digitally controllable RGB LEDs with WS2801 driver IC - each LED features an integrated controller and can be animated in any desired color (24Bit).

The individual "dots" are very robust and waterproof, fitting into 12mm holes (material thickness up to 1.5mm).

The strand is connected with 4 wires: 5V, GND, Data (Green), and Clock (Yellow). Data is shifted from one pixel to the next, making it very easy to add additional strands.

Each dot is digitally controlled and has an internal 8-bit PWM LED driver (24Bit or 16 million colors). A microprocessor is required for control, and ready-made libraries and examples are available, for instance, for Arduino. Only two pins are used (Data, Clock).

The diffuse LEDs have a beam angle of approximately 120 degrees and together achieve a brightness of about 1600mcd.

This strand has a total of 25 pixels, which are spaced approximately 7cm apart.

New: At both the beginning and the end of the strand, there is a JST 4-pin connector (5V, Clock, Data, GND) (Input = Male, Output = Female). Any number of strands can be easily connected together by simply plugging them in - our 5V/2A power supply is sufficient to power at least two strands.
