Noise is an annoying byproduct that is caused not only at airports by departing airplanes and in road traffic by passing trucks. Many people are therefore keen to ensure peace and quiet in their own homes to find relaxation. Unfortunately, in many cases, the PC counteracts these efforts and is bothersome during operation due to high noise levels.

The sources of noise are primarily all rotating components, particularly fans and hard drives. These should be decoupled, and if necessary, the speed should be reduced. Many cases support these measures and already come with appropriate features from the factory.

Additionally, insulation can help achieve even lower external noise levels. With this modified version of the Corsair Graphite 780T, both approaches are combined, and the case is equipped with pre-installed insulation.

The special feature of this configuration is that, in addition to the pre-installed insulation mats, additional insulation material is included. This is also precisely cut and allows for additional sealing of other case parts. As a result, you have the choice of how much insulation you want to install to achieve an individual optimum of cooling and noise reduction.
