The Nuki Keypad 2 NFC expands your Nuki Smart Lock system with versatile access control options. This keypad allows you to unlock your Nuki Smart Lock with a simple tap using the NFC chip on your smartphone, effectively turning your mobile device into a digital key. Alternatively, you can use PIN codes or fingerprint recognition to operate the lock without your phone. The system supports the creation of permanent codes for family members and friends, as well as temporary codes that can be automatically deactivated, for example, for housekeepers or dog sitters. All codes and fingerprints are managed through the Nuki app, which also provides detailed access logs with exact timestamps and user information. The keypad offers storage for up to 35 digital keys, 20 fingerprints, and 200 PIN codes. For users with a Matter-compatible smart home hub, the system offers additional integration options that allow you to add digital keys to Apple Wallet or Samsung Wallet. The keypad operates with included batteries that ensure up to 12 months of typical usage. A notable design feature is the omission of the number 0 on the keypad, which prevents its use in PIN codes for enhanced security. This accessory is specifically designed for the Nuki Smart Lock models Go, Pro, and Ultra, measuring approximately 12 cm in width, 8 cm in height, and 2 cm in depth, with a weight of 250 g. The keypad features a robust construction with IP54 certified splash and dust protection, making it suitable for both indoor and outdoor use in entryways.
