Parking mode recording. Thanks to the Nordväl PMPC03 Power Kit USB-C for the DC202-2CH, you can continue recording in parking mode without the risk of running out of battery. The desired cut-off voltage value can be easily set.
In parking mode, you can choose from various recording options, such as bump detection, motion detection and time-lapse recording. The dashcam records continuously or starts when motion or an impact is detected. As soon as the vehicle is switched off and the Nordväl dashcam is recording in parking mode, the PMPC03 Power Kit checks the voltage level of the car battery. If the voltage falls below the specified value, the PMPC03 automatically switches off the power supply to prevent the car battery from discharging. You simply connect the kit to the vehicle's fuse box and select the desired cut-off voltage.
This power supply kit is suitable for both 12 volts and 24 volts.
Cut-off voltage options:
For 12 volt batteries: The protection voltages are 11.6 V, 11.8 V, 12.0 V and 12.2 V. 11.8 V is recommended for most users under general driving conditions.
For 24 volt batteries: The protection voltages are 23.2 V, 23.6 V, 24.0 V and 24.4 V. 23.6 V is recommended for most users under general driving conditions.
The hardwire kit automatically recognises the type of lead-acid battery (12 V or 24 V) and protects your battery against discharge. The PMPC03 automatically recognises the voltage level of the battery.
