The Nord EP-30 is a professional digital piano designed for musicians seeking authentic acoustic piano performance in a compact instrument. Featuring 88 fully weighted hammer-action keys with graded touch sensitivity, this piano replicates the feel of a traditional grand piano, with heavier resistance in the lower register and lighter touch in the higher octaves. The keyboard measures 132 cm in width, 28 cm in depth, and 15 cm in height, with a total weight of 18.5 kg including the optional stand. The sound generation utilizes advanced sampling technology that captures the rich tonal characteristics of a concert grand piano, with 256-note polyphony for complex passages and sustained notes without sound loss. The instrument offers 20 high-quality sounds, including several piano variations, electric pianos, organs, strings, and bass tones, all processed through a 40-watt stereo amplifier system with two 12-cm speakers.
