Noctua NH-D9DX i4 3U CPU Cooler

The Noctua DX series has become a standard solution for quiet high-performance cooling in the Xeon range. The latest i4 revision supports LGA2011 (both Square ILM and Narrow ILM), LGA1356, and LGA1366 based Intel Xeon systems. The new D9 model offers higher efficiency and better compatibility than previous 9cm versions. With a footprint of 95x95mm and a reduced height of 110mm, the NH-D9DX i4 is fully 3U compatible and does not extend over the memory slots on LGA2011 Square ILM and LGA13xx.

The dual-tower design and the new NF-A9 PWM fan provide even better cooling performance with minimal noise. Together with the professional SecuFirm2 mounting system and Noctua's NT-H1 quality thermal paste, the NH-D9DX i4 3U forms a complete premium package for quiet cooling of Xeon workstations and servers.

The NH-D9DX i4 is only 110mm tall, which is 15mm less than the previous 4U compatible 9cm coolers in the DX series. This allows the NH-D9DX i4 to fit into 3U cases, making it ideal for noise-sensitive 3U applications such as in the audio or video field.

With its footprint of 95x95mm, the NH-D9DX i4 does not extend over the RAM slots on current LGA2011 Square ILM, LGA1366, and LGA1356. This ensures not only easy access to the memory modules but also full compatibility with modules that have high heatsinks.

The highly optimized NF-A9 premium fan features Noctua's special AAO frame system and advanced aerodynamic design measures such as Flow Acceleration Channels. With its increased efficiency compared to Noctua's previous 92mm models, it significantly contributes to the superior cooling performance of the NH-D9DX i4. The NF-A9 92mm fan of the NH-D9DX i4 supports PWM for convenient, fully automatic speed control via the motherboard.
