This filter absorbs ultraviolet light and reduces the blue cast of daylight. In addition to minimizing unwanted blue tones, it does not add any extra colors or contrasts, and no exposure adjustment is necessary.

The filter absorbs 50% of UV light wavelengths at 395 nanometers and gradually eliminates them before they enter the camera, thereby restricting the light to the visible spectrum. This significantly reduces the bluish tint that can occur when shooting videos or photos in daylight, achieving accurate color reproduction throughout the image.

Like the rest of the NiSi range, this filter is made from high-quality, precision annealed optical glass. Its surface is finely ground and polished to ensure sharpness for today’s high-resolution cameras.
