The cable type used, CU 7702 flex 4P (Category 7), is pair-shielded (PiMF) and features a highly covering copper braid as an overall shield, ensuring excellent NEXT and impedance values. The cables are suitable for the transmission of CATV signals up to 862 MHz due to their very low cable attenuation. The patch cables comply with the component standard Category 6A (IEC) and meet the channel requirements of Class EA for 10GBase-T transmissions in a cabling run.

Unlike conventional PVC cables, these cables are halogen-free: the dangerous release of halogen-containing combustion gases is therefore excluded, and smoke generation is minimized. Halogen-free cables are also flame-retardant, and there is no dangerous ignition cord effect.
