The NETGEAR Nighthawk AX8 8-Stream AX6000 Wi-Fi Router (RAX80) features a 64-bit 1.8 GHz quad-core processor designed to handle multi-gigabit data transmission with nearly zero CPU load. The 160 MHz channel support doubles the speeds of 80 MHz channels, providing gigabit speeds to compatible devices. This router is the industry's first home router with multi-gigabit support, achieved through the aggregation of two gigabit Ethernet ports. The router is prepared for the upcoming multi-gig internet wave in DOCSIS 3.1. AX Wi-Fi is designed to deliver up to four times the data capacity compared to previous standards and includes advanced technologies such as OFDMA, 160 MHz channel support, and 1024 QAM to significantly enhance network efficiency.
