On 5 GHz, Netgear chooses a special configuration: one module supports 4x4 MIMO, but the other only 2x2. This could slow things down somewhat in mesh mode. The RAX70 also does not offer multi-gigabit Ethernet, but two times two of its five Ethernet sockets can be interconnected via "port aggregation"...
