NETGEAR AV Line M4250-10G2F-PoE: 8x1G PoE 125W, 2x1G and 2xSFP Managed Switch (GSM4212P). Connections: 10x RJ45, 2x SFP. Number of PoE ports: 8, PoE standard: 802.3af/at PoE 30 Watt, PoE budget: 125 W. Mounting: 19-inch rack. 8-Port 10/100/1000BASE-T (RJ45) PoE with a 125W PoE budget, 2-Port 10/100/1000BASE-T (RJ45), 2-Port 1000BASE-X (SFP). Black front panel and all connections on the back, possible reverse mounting with connections on the front. Threaded hole on the front (1x M10) for clamps, threaded holes on the bottom (4x M5) for 50x100 mm VESA plates, selectable fan modes for fanless, quiet, or cool operation. The M4250 supports Audio-Video Bridging (AVB). One of the many features of the new M4250 product line is full support for Audio-Video Bridging (AVB), an industry standard for transporting content over a network. AVB is most commonly used when very low latency is required, such as in live performances where lip synchronization is critical. All switches in the AV Line M4250 can optionally be licensed for AVB support. Power over Ethernet (PoE): With Power over Ethernet, compatible devices can be powered through the network cable. This significantly reduces cabling efforts for end devices such as wireless access points, IP phones, and IP cameras, while also allowing for high flexibility in device placement. 802.3at PoE: The IEEE 802.3at standard provides a maximum of 25.4 watts of power per PoE port with a voltage of up to 50 volts. The standard assumes that after line losses, 21.90 watts of usable power remain or may be drawn to not exceed the maximum power output. For PoE, a Cat5e/6 cable with a maximum length of 100 m is recommended.
