NETGEAR M4500-32C Managed Switch with 32 Ports (40/50/100G). As Pro AV-over-IP systems continue to grow, a new class of switches has emerged. The SDVoE-capable 100G and 10G Ethernet M4500 switches combine the configurability of a matrix switch with the performance and scalability of Ethernet to support hundreds of AV-over-IP endpoints. Layer-3 PIM-SSM routing is available but not mandatory: these new switches offer IGMP + and significantly simplify system architectures at Layer 2 using the same familiar IGMP techniques throughout the AV-over-IP network.
