The ASM (Advanced Silent Mode) technology has been developed to create a power supply that operates as quietly as possible. The temperature within the power supply is measured at specific points, and an automatic fan control regulates the 120 mm fan of the power supply.

Only with the ASM Xzero power supply series do you receive particularly convenient flexibility in configuring the required cables. You can freely combine the hard drive, floppy, and Serial ATA connectors and use only the cables that are actually needed.

If you install the power supply upside down (with the fan facing upwards), a negative pressure is created within the power supply, resulting in more efficient cooling. This improves the 0 dB(A) ASM mode by up to 42%, leading to less fan usage and longer periods of absolute silence.
