Installation is easy, as the light string connects directly to your Wi-Fi without the need for an additional hub. Control the lights with the free Nedis SmartLife app and set up automations based on schedules, sunset, or other Nedis SmartLife products. In combination with Google Home or Amazon Alexa, you can even use voice commands to change the color and brightness of the lights. The 5-meter length and minimalist silver wire design make it a very flexible solution for many situations. The light string itself is splash-proof (IP44) and can therefore be used outdoors, as long as the controller is kept indoors. It is powered via USB, so any USB charger can be used, or you can connect it to the USB port of your computer, TV, or sound system to automatically turn the lights on with the device.
