The Navilock NL-8012U USB 2.0 Multi-GNSS receiver utilizes the u-blox 8 UBX-M8030-KT chipset for high-precision positioning with support for multiple satellite systems, including GPS, GLONASS, BEIDOU, GALILEO, and QZSS. This receiver achieves a position accuracy of 2.5 meters CEP, which can be improved to 2 meters with SBAS augmentation, and can track up to 72 satellites simultaneously. With a built-in high-sensitivity antenna boasting a maximum sensitivity of -167 dBm, the device offers quick startup times, with cold starts in about 26 seconds and warm starts in about 1 second. The receiver operates with update rates of 18 Hz for single GNSS and 10 Hz for multi-GNSS configurations, ensuring reliable and consistent position data. Featuring a USB 2.0 Type-A connector and a generous 4.5-meter long cable, this compact device measures 65 x 45 x 22 mm and has IPX6 protection against water ingress. The receiver includes a magnetic, non-slip base for secure placement and an LED display for GPS status monitoring. It operates within a temperature range of -20 °C to 60 °C, consuming a maximum of 45 mA at 5 V DC power supply. Compatibility extends to Windows Vista through Windows 10 and Linux Kernel 2.6 systems with support for NMEA 0183 protocols, including GGA, GSA, GSV, RMC, and VTG. The device also supports AssistNow Online and Offline services, as well as automatic baud rates up to 115200 bps.
