The high-quality active high pass of the SAM-2, with its adjustment options, can be comfortably used to relieve the main speakers of bass and to optimize sound. However, a regulated preamplifier output in the system is a prerequisite for this, as is sometimes found in high-quality splitable integrated amplifiers or as it automatically occurs in pre-power amplifier combinations or when using mixing consoles.
