The new battery features a significantly improved power intake. Many electrical consumers, stop-and-go traffic in busy urban areas, or frequent short trips drain a battery's energy considerably. Often, this energy depletion exceeds what can be recharged during the actual drive. As a result, the typical working charge level of the battery averages between 60 to 80%. If the battery is discharged even further, which often happens in winter due to low temperatures and increased use of additional consumers (seat heating, windshield heating, etc.), it can lead to battery failure during the next engine start. The new powerful battery from the MOLL accumulator factory helps with this: The MOLL X-TRA Charge has a significantly improved power intake compared to comparable standard batteries and recharges much faster, especially at low charge levels.
