Modster MDX Corsair F4U
Multi motorProduct details
The F4U-4 is the last series of the legendary Corsairs that were used in World War II. This series was delivered to the US Navy in early 1945 and was powered by a Pratt & Whitney R2800-18W Twin Wasp supercharged engine with 2100 horsepower.
The Modster MDX Corsair is ideal as a first warbird model for advanced beginners with basic aileron flying experience. However, its high maximum speed and agility also provide a lot of fun for experienced pilots. The F4U-4 is capable of performing basic aerobatic maneuvers such as loops or rolls at the push of a button, thanks to the aerobatic switch on the remote control. A pre-installed 6-axis gyro system stabilizes the flight attitude during all maneuvers and can be switched between three levels (Beginner, Intermediate, Expert). The Corsair is a high-quality model made of durable EPP plastic. Everything is already fully assembled and painted, except for the landing gear. Thanks to a prop saver, the risk of damage to the propeller is reduced. Flight time ranges from 7 to 15 minutes, depending on how often and how long full throttle is applied. The standard 2.4GHz remote control is provided exclusively in Mode 2 configuration, meaning that throttle control is on the left stick.
