Picares F5J "Langohr" V-tail
The Langohr is an evolution of the Picares EVO. With a focus on the F5J and F5J-400 classes, the wingspan has been increased to 2.5 meters with longer outer wings. Additionally, ailerons have been included to maintain excellent maneuverability.

New: The Langohr will now be delivered with a V-tail. The circling flight characteristics have been significantly improved with the V-tail!

With a takeoff weight starting at 635 grams, the Langohr is lightweight and, due to its larger wingspan, is even more thermally eager and capable of flying over greater distances than the EVO. The intended propulsion system with Hacker A10-7L 4.4:1 using 3S and a 13x8 propeller provides a climb rate of approximately 7 m/s. This allows for sufficient altitude to be reached quickly for thermal searching.

All parts from the EVO, Langohr, and V2Q are compatible with each other! For example, an existing EVO electric model can be converted to a Langohr with replacement outer wings. Retrofitting cables and connectors in the wings is easily possible.
