The MikroTik CCR1036-8G-2S+EM is the flagship of the MikroTik router series and features one of the most advanced Tilera CPUs with 36 cores running at 1.2 GHz and 16 GB of RAM.

The Cloud Core series is up to 20 times faster compared to previous models, achieving a throughput of up to 24 million packets per second. The router offers various connection options, including 2 SFP+ slots for 10 Gigabit connections and 8 Gigabit LAN ports.

Powered by MikroTik OS, the Cloud Core Router comes with the latest Router OS software and offers the following features:

  • MPLS (MultiProtocol Label Switching)
  • Routing (Supports a variety of routing protocols)
  • Firewall (Configured as a firewall with numerous features)
  • Web Proxy (Configured as a proxy server)
  • Bandwidth Management

MikroTik Router OS License, Router OS is divided into 6 different license levels.

The Cloud Core Router series has the highest expansion level, which unlocks the following features:

  • Unlimited number of EoIP and PPPoE tunnels
  • Unlimited number of VLAN interfaces
  • Unlimited number of OVPN tunnels
  • Unlimited number of L2TP tunnels.
