Asterix and Obelix return to their village after a successful wild boar hunt, only to helplessly watch it become engulfed in flames. Worse yet: all their friends have disappeared! By Toutatis! The Romans have struck again! Thus, the two heroes, along with their dog Idefix, embark on an action-packed world tour to find the missing villagers and free them from captivity.

On their journey around the world, Asterix and Obelix in this long-awaited remaster not only explore Gaul, Egypt, and Rome, but also battle massive hordes of Romans and face a multitude of tricky challenges.
