The Metz Connect Singlemode OS2 fiber optic patch cable is a state-of-the-art solution for network connections, tailored to meet the demands of modern communication systems. With a single-mode fiber and a wavelength of 1310 nm, this cable offers excellent signal transmission over long distances. It is designed according to international standards IEC 60793-2-50 and G.657.A2/B2, making it particularly resistant to bending. The cable has an outer diameter of 2.0 x 4.2 mm and is equipped with a halogen-free sheath that produces low smoke. The use of aramid for strain relief ensures additional stability and durability. The cable is designed as a duplex cable in a zipcord style and has been 100% tested to guarantee the highest quality and reliability.
