Rectifier Traditional 4x12 cabinets are three inches shorter than the oversized Standard Rectifier 4x12 (width and depth remain the same). This slight size difference results in a tighter and more focused response in the lower range, while still delivering a massive 4x12 punch and authority. Compared to Standard Recto 4x12s, the Traditional 4x12 offers a more balanced ratio of lows, mids, and highs, with a stronger emphasis on attack. The midrange is more pronounced, and this cabinet is often preferred for styles that require tight tracking and an articulate response. The straight cabinet design allows for a slight increase in the internal space of the cabinet, resulting in a bit more bass and deeper resonance compared to slanted cabinets.
