The Meinl Sonic Energy PKL1707H is a compact thumb piano with a beautiful sound. The Kalimba is made from high-quality acacia wood and features an attractive design. It produces a dense, warm, melodic, and resonant tone that radiates tranquility and invites relaxation. Therefore, the Kalimba is ideal for sound therapy, meditation, or yoga, as well as for playing as a musician.

The resonance hole in the center provides a warm tone and long sustain. With the PKL1707H, 17 tones from the C major scale can be played. This wide tonal range allows for the playing of numerous melodies. To play, the keys of the Kalimba are struck or plucked with the thumb.

The PKL1707H has a built-in pickup and a 6.35 mm jack connection to connect to an amplifier or effects devices. This allows the sound of the Kalimba to be well-represented in larger spaces or on stage. Additionally, the pickup is excellent for recordings.

Playing the Kalimba is easy to learn, making it ideal for beginners. The package includes a case that protects against scratches, a microfiber cloth to keep the Kalimba clean, and a linen bag for storage. A tuning hammer is also included to retune the Kalimba if necessary.
