The Meinl Heavy 5B sticks are professional drumsticks made from heavy hickory with an acorn tip. Unlike the standard model, the heavy version features an extra half inch in length and harder wood, which increases durability and striking power. Weight and pitch are matched within each pair (Weight Matched & Pitch Matched). The pre-selected American hickory provides excellent weighting and long-lasting durability without splintering.
