Meike Adapter Extension Tube Set EOS R Set 11 / 18mm

Macro photography allows you to immerse yourself in the image worlds of scale-accurate representation. The extension tubes improve the minimum focusing distance and thus the magnification ratio of (D)SLR lenses. The rings are mounted between the camera body and the lens and can be used individually or in combination. Depending on the subject situation, the two differently sized rings can be quickly and easily changed in their combination.

The elaborate mechanical and electronic design of the extension tubes allows for the transfer of all automatic functions. The only limitation is in the autofocus function, which is transmitted but only usable to a limited extent, as the light intensity decreases and the depth of field is very small in macro shots. With a 50mm lens and the complete set of extension tubes, you can achieve a magnification ratio greater than 1:1 (calculated for the 35mm format)!

For ideal results, it is also recommended to use a tripod or a focusing rail and to ensure plenty of light. Additionally, a small telephoto focal length is advantageous, as it increases the distance between the front edge of the lens and the subject.
