Hundreds of years after the Battle for the Red Earth of Earth Prime, humans have colonized the blue planet. The "Outers" – humans who have been exposed to the unique energy source Femto and now possess special abilities – have grown weary of the mistreatment by humanity on this new and dangerous planet. They took control of the Gardens, orbital defense satellites from which they rule the planet with military power as the Sovereign Axiom. While humans on the planet's surface struggle for survival against the elements and a race of organic-mechanical creatures known as the "Immortals," a resistance organization called "The Reclaimers" has formed to challenge the brutal rule of the Axiom. An Outers soldier who crash-lands in the desert outside the largest human settlement may now hold the key to humanity's final revolution.
