Marantz audio engineers have implemented all the expertise gained from developing the premium series into the SA8005 stereo SACD player, adding a significant amount of flexibility. For example, it faithfully delivers an extremely wide sound spectrum without needing to add or omit sound information.
This is achieved through fast, low-noise, and symmetrical circuits with lower impedance. The loading mechanism virtually eliminates resonance, while the reduced distortion spectrum of the SACDs ensures the best possible audio quality. In addition to optical and coaxial digital inputs, the SA8005 features a USB-B port for direct connection to a PC. This means that customers can utilize the high-quality D/A converter and the premium audio stage with HDAM-SA2 modules. For this reason, this newly developed player also incorporates the most advanced grounding and signal separation technology, which practically eliminates noise effects from the PC.
Furthermore, the USB-B port operates in asynchronous mode and can process not only 192 kHz/24 Bit but also DSD 2.8 MHz and 5.6 MHz (HD Audio). This offers maximum versatility and performance. All mentioned audio sources undergo the same excellent signal processing, ensuring that the music always sounds rich in detail.
Please note: To enable the connection and audio playback from a PC via a connected USB Type-B cable, it is necessary to first install the appropriate software drivers on your PC. This is not required for MAC.
