Art of Fighting 1 and Art of Fighting 2 focus on the Sakazaki family and their experiences in South Town, where they attempt to rescue Yuri Sakazaki and fight against the corrupt police commissioner Geese Howard. The focus of Art of Fighting 3 is on Robert Garcia, a friend of the Sakazaki family, and his journey to Mexico in search of a childhood friend.

This edition also includes the option to choose between the original arcade soundtrack and an extra arrangement, as well as the ability to customize characters with a different color system.
