M5Stack ATOM TailBat

The TailBat from M5Stack is an external battery accessory designed for the M5ATOM. When the TailBat module is connected to the M5ATOM, it can directly power the M5ATOM, allowing it to be used in mobile applications. The TailBat includes a 190mAh battery and features a physical button. It is controlled by the power management chip IP5303. When the power is turned on, a red indicator light illuminates.

The operation is the same as with the M5Stack Core: press the button to turn on the power. Double-pressing the button turns the power off again. Since the TailBat is simply designed to add battery power, it does not affect the original Grove connection mode or USB functionality. The built-in battery can only be charged via the USB Type-C interface and not through the Grove interface.
