The new SL X offers safety both day and night. It is an extremely powerful lamp, perfect for fast rides, with up to 1800 lumens of high beam – currently the brightest StVZO-approved lamp for e-bikes. When you switch to high beam, the SL X opens a daylight-bright corridor well above the glare-free light-dark boundary and activates the 9 automotive LEDs of the main headlight to maximum. Uniquely, the daytime running light also increases in power simultaneously. The 6 LEDs and the sophisticated Fresnel lens system enhance light output and create additional near-field illumination, allowing you to master fast descents and technical root passages with ease. The low beam provides you with glare-free light and visibility in every situation. Off the city streets, you can switch to high beam with just one button press and ride your bike on country roads and challenging trails. The daytime running light of the SL X shines particularly bright and ensures the full attention of all road users. The SL X is currently the only StVZO-approved Lupine with a genuine daytime running light function, tested according to ECE R87. Especially with permanently mounted lamps, it can happen that your bike with the lamp stands in the rain or takes a hit during falls. Therefore, the SL X is waterproof and impact-resistant according to IP68. The step-adjustable stereo sensor scans your ambient light in real time and switches the SL X from daytime running light to low beam in a timely manner. At the same time, the sensor enables the high beam function. With the specially designed switch clamp for e-bikes, you always have your lamp under control and can easily switch between low beam and high beam. The symbols on the switch light up green or blue, depending on which mode you are currently in.
