Loctite Screw lock 2701

Loctite Threadlocker 2701 is a high-strength, low-viscosity specialty adhesive formulated on a methacrylate basis. This product is designed to prevent unwanted movement and loosening of threaded connections while also counteracting leaks and corrosion in the threads. The threadlocker is resistant to vibrations and is particularly well-suited for chrome-plated surfaces. It cures in the absence of air between close metal surfaces, providing a reliable seal. The curing times vary depending on the material: 10 minutes on steel, 4 minutes on brass, and 25 minutes on stainless steel. Additionally, the threadlocker tolerates minor oil contamination from industrial oils and fluoresces under UV light, allowing for easy verification of application.
