This product is used to permanently secure and seal threaded connections. It cures in the absence of air between closely fitting metal surfaces. It prevents self-loosening and leaks due to shocks and vibrations, making it particularly suitable for high-stress applications, such as securing threaded studs in engine housings and nuts on threaded studs in pump housings, as well as other threaded connections where high strength is required. The product achieves robust curing performance and can be used on both active metals (e.g., brass, copper) and passive materials such as stainless steel and coated surfaces. It offers high temperature and oil resistance and tolerates slight contamination of surfaces by various oils, including cutting, lubricating, corrosion protection, and protective oils. It is approved by NSF International under the NSF category P1 for use as a sealant in areas of food processing where there is no contact.
