This Lindy USB 2.0 Cat.6 Extender can be used to extend the distance between two USB peripherals and the host computer by up to 100 meters. A standard, cost-effective Cat.5e/6 network cable (not included) is used to establish the connection between the transmitter and the receiver unit. For optimal performance and compatibility, we recommend using patch cables with solid core.

The extender features bidirectional power over cable (PoC), providing additional flexibility. This allows simultaneous power supply along with data over the Cat.6 network cable in a point-to-point connection between the transmitter and receiver, meaning that only a single power supply is required either at the transmitter or at the receiver unit.
