Singlemode E2000/APC-E2000/APC Duplex OS2 10 m. Cable length: 10 m. Fiber quality: OS2. Duplex. Connectors: E2000/APC - E2000/APC. E2000 connector. The E2000 connector is suitable for both singlemode and multimode fibers and is characterized by its high data throughput. The special feature of the E2000 connector is a small flap that protects the user from emitted laser beams and the fiber end from dirt and damage. APC - Angled Physical Contact. For connectors with the APC designation, the end face is not only convex but also tilted a few degrees relative to the fiber axis. This design allows reflected light from the core to be refracted into the air through the cladding, thus preventing interference with data transmission.

Patch cable type

The cable type, describes the structure of a network cable. Fiber optic cables are suitable for distribution over longer distances (up to 80 km) and are resistant to interference. Copper cables can be used for distances up to 100 m and are cheaper to purchase.

Fibre type

The glazier type is divided into multi mode and single mode. Single mode cables are characterized by the higher possible bandwidth and greater distances that they can bridge. Multi Mode cables are easier to manufacture, offer simpler connection technology due to the larger core diameter and are used within buildings or floors.

Product dimensions

Unlike copper cables, fibre optic cables offer inherent protection against electromagnetic interference and allow long distances to be bridged.

Protection against electromagnetic interference

A flap on the E2000 connector protects the user from escaping laser radiation and keeps the fibre end free from contamination.

Integrated protection system on the E2000 connector

The angled APC polish of the connectors refracts reflected light, thereby preventing interference during data transmission.
