While a conventional signal in a copper cable is subject to electrical interference, optical cables operate flawlessly even under the most challenging conditions. The LC connector is a high-performance fiber optic connector for single-mode and multi-mode applications, featuring an insertion loss of only 0.1 dB and a return loss of 55 dB. The design of the LC connector is based on a single-fiber ceramic ferrule with a diameter of 1.25 mm for a fiber optic.
