Product details

A conventional electrical signal in a copper cable is disrupted by electromagnetic interference. In contrast, optical fiber cables offer better protection against disturbances and are also more secure against eavesdropping. Additionally, the low attenuation of optical cables allows for long distances to be covered. The LC connector is a high-performance fiber optic connector for singlemode and multimode applications, featuring an insertion loss of only 0.1 dB and a return loss of 55 dB. The design of the LC connector is based on a single-fiber ceramic ferrule with a diameter of 1.25 millimeters for a fiber optic cable.
