The design of the PC-V1000L sets the case apart as an exotic option within the Lian Li lineup. While almost all other cases from this premium manufacturer feature a front made of brushed aluminum, interrupted only by any existing fan slots, this model utilizes a continuous mesh grille.
Upon closer inspection, this design is not a new invention but rather a revival of a classic from Lian Li's repertoire that had somewhat faded from memory and is thus only found in this model. The functionality clearly reflects its Lian Li heritage at first glance, as the V1000L is once again a case with groundbreaking features.
Originally, Lian Li designed the V-series as server cases, which were crafted to be significantly more elegant and high-quality compared to other members of this category. The V-series within the Lian Li lineup has always offered certain extras such as wheels for easy transport, extensive functionality, and above all, the capacity to accommodate many drives.
