The case is built on a sturdy steel construction with a fully removable front cover and tempered glass side panel. The interior provides space for dual radiators, numerous drives, and powerful hardware.

The Lancool 205 has been specifically designed with the cooling of high-performance hardware in mind and features multiple air intakes: the otherwise smooth front cover of the case is defined by two wide mesh strips on the sides. The back, top, and bottom of the case are also equipped with generous air inlets and outlets. The front and top are fitted with magnetic dust filters, while the dust filter under the power supply is located in a tray. Thus, all filters are removable and can be easily cleaned.
